About us

Lisner is the leader of the Polish market for herring preparations, salads and spreads for sandwiches. The company is part of the pan-European food concern UTM, best known as the owner of the Müller brand of dairy products. 

Lisner has its headquarters and main production plant in Poznan.

Our position on the market obliges us to offer the highest quality products. The Quality Assurance Department constantly ensures that the products bearing our brands are of the highest quality. We are certified to meet food safety standards according to the BRC Standard (British Retail Consortium) and the IFS Standard (International Food Standard).

  • We start in Wolsztyn, but after three years we move to Poznan where we stay for longer.

    1991

  • The year we present the world with the very first version of our classic herring fillet 'boat' in sauce.

    1993

  • We add to our range of spread categories, currently known as pastella.

    2001

  • A historic rebranding, we present a completely redesigned logo and our products.

    2010

  • Michel Moran becomes the face of Lisner, a delicious collaboration begins! In the same year, a limited edition flavour of the season is introduced for the first time.

    2014

  • Lisner is committed to growth and we are expanding with a plant in Charzyno.

    2016

  • We are changing for you! The logo and our packaging are getting a breath of modernity. In addition, we have a branded "Strzeszyńska Lisner" stop in Poznań.

    2021

  • Reduce the plastic in our iconic herring fillets! Now 100% recyclable.
