3-4 herring fillets a'la matjas Lisner
3 pickled cucumbers
3 tablespoons of pickled mushrooms
½ of onion
½ ripe avocado
fresh dill or coriander according to your preference
freshly ground pepper to taste
1 teaspoon of mustard to taste
Method of preparation
Before preparing the recipe, soak the herring in cold water, preferably for about 2 hours. Change the water three times during this time, then rinse them thoroughly. If you prefer your herring to have a more salty taste, skip this point.
Finely dice the herring, pickled cucumbers, pickled mushrooms, avocado and onion.
Layer the ingredients prepared in this way in a tartare ring or directly on the plate.
Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper to taste and decorate with ½ teaspoon of mustard.
Serve with fresh dill or coriander and fresh bread.
