3-4 herring fillets a'la matjas Lisner
100ml of Greek-style yoghurt
1 flat spoon (approx. 10-12 g) of French mustard
¼ flat spoon of curry spice
freshly ground pepper to taste
Method of preparation
Before preparing the recipe, soak the herring in cold water, preferably for about 2 hours. Change the water three times during this time, then rinse them thoroughly. If you prefer your herring to have a more salty taste, skip this point.
Cut the herring into strips about 3-4 cm wide.
Mix the Greek-style yoghurt with the mustard, curry spice and pepper.
Place the previously prepared herrings on a plate and pour over the mustard sauce.
