Marinated herring with fried onion
with dried tomatoes in rapeseed oil

4-5 country-style herring fillets with onion Lisner
4 white onions
5 tablespoons of rapeseed oil
5 tablespoons of dried tomatoes (preferably dried tomatoes in jar with oil)
3 tablespoons of capers
3-4 bay leaf
freshly ground pepper to taste
Method of preparation
Cut the herring into strips about 2 cm wide.
Cut the onion into feathers and fry in hot rapeseed oil along with the bay leaf and allspice.
When softened, remove it from the pan and add it to the herring and the sundried tomatoes cut into strips. Then stir.
Add the capers to the herring and season with freshly ground pepper.
