  • 4 big herring fillets a'la matjas Lisner
  • 300g of cherry tomatoes
  • 70g of green olives
  • 250g of mini Mozzarella
  • basil for decoration

Method of preparation

  1. Before preparing the recipe, soak the herring in cold water, preferably for about 2 hours. Change the water three times during this time, then rinse them thoroughly. If you prefer your herring to have a more salty taste, skip this point.
  2. Cut the herring into 2 cm x 2 cm pieces.
  3. Thread a cherry tomato, olive, mini mozzarella and herring onto toothpicks.
  4. Place the appetizers on a plate and decorate with basil.
