2 big herring fillets a'la matjas Lisner
2 slices of sourdough wheat bread
1 ripe avocado
100g of kale
50g of butter (25g for frying the kale and 25g for buttering bread)
salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation
Before preparing the recipe, soak the herring in cold water, preferably for about 2 hours. Change the water three times during this time, then rinse them thoroughly. If you prefer your herring to have a more salty taste, skip this point.
Fry the kale in a frying pan with 25g butter, season with salt and pepper.
Slice the avocado.
If you like crusty bread, we recommend heating the bread in a toaster or frying pan until browned.
Butter the bread, then arrange the kale, avocado, herring and a fried egg.
